Summary

It was never smooth sailing for Devin LeSassier as he chronicles the life of a barber that found his calling at age ten at his mom's house. Devin grew up fast, a father of five children by the time he was twenty-five who spent his twenties battling out a bitter divorce. Two short stints in jail as he tried to make ends meet became the impetus for finding strength through running and reinvigorating a commitment to his loved ones. Devin talks about a mentor, the mentor whom he wrote to while he was in jail, the one person in his life that told him to keep going and to believe that his potential was still untapped.

Devin's rise from pit to peak was not in vain, despite his tribulation and his loss of education, time, money, he understands the importance of giving back. He stares down his tribulation with gratitude and now he is using his craft to give back.  Devin LeSassier is a New York Metropolitan based traveling barber. He started cutting hair at 10 years old out of his mother’s daycare. While enduring life’s challenges, cutting hair has become his life long passion and exalted purpose.
