Nate was one of six children in his family, he was a middle child and it paid off for him. He hit the ground running as an entrepreneur from the earliest stages of his life. He shares stories about his antics as a young child diving into the water and selling recovered golf balls, running away from the course ranger to make a quick fifty bucks. When his parents told him he'd have to pay for football camp, he decided to create his own sports summer camp in his parents backyard, and the only problem was he never told his parents about before they started fielding calls from parents who were interested in admitting their kids. He ended up bringing in friends and family to help him grow the camp and 8 years later it was evident to him that he was wired to create, to build, and to see a vision to completion.

On this episode Nate opens up about his failures and the learning moments that cultivated his career. He also shares the story of how Rhone was born and how despite a few bad omens right before the launch. Nate is not just a savvy businessman, he's a humanitarian and a philanthropist, he has used his platform to raise awareness around Mental Health for Men. He envisions a world where his children build confidence, understand the value of kindness, and give back to make the world a better place.

Nate Checketts is the Co-Founder & CEO of Rhone, a men’s performance lifestyle brand founded in 2014. Prior to Rhone,Nate worked for and consulted with some of the biggest technology and entertainment properties in the world includingCisco, The NationalFootball League, Legends, FanVision and Sport Radar. Nate is also an avid entrepreneur who founded and launched 4companies before the age of 30, including Rhone and Mangia Technologies, whose patents were later acquired by the San Francisco 49ers. In 2020 Nate was selected by the Sports Business Journal to their 2020 list of Forty leaders under Forty. In addition to Rhone, Nate also serves as Chairman of the Board to Beyond Type 1, a non-profit dedicated to the community of those with Type 1 Diabetes. Nate graduated from BrighamYoung University with a BA inFinance.  He and his wife Dayna reside in Connecticut with their three young boys, Gabriel, William and Nicholas.
