Show Notes

In this episode of Mile 40, Bishoy sits down with NYC-based trainer Trevor Franklin for an honest conversation about a topic most people in the fitness world avoid.

Trevor opens up about his experience using steroids, why he made that decision, what he learned, and how it ultimately shaped his perspective on health, performance, and identity.

We get into:

  • The pressure to look a certain way in the fitness industry
  • What people don’t tell you about performance-enhancing drugs
  • The mental and physical trade-offs
  • What “doing it the right way” actually means

This isn’t a glorification—it’s a real, unfiltered look at choices, consequences, and growth.

If you care about longevity, discipline, and building something real—this conversation will make you think.

Trevor Franklin is a group fitness instructor from Lubbock, Texas. An athlete himself growing up, Trevor loves full body, athletic style training that can translate to daily life.
